POWELL RIVER, BC – The qathet Regional District is developing a Parks and Trails Strategy to guide the future direction for parks and trails owned and operated by the Regional District.
Parks and trails are a vital asset to our community, providing valuable recreation opportunities that support the health and wellness of residents and visitors. They provide the public with access to all that nature has to offer while also protecting those resources for future generations.
What do you value about the regional district’s parks, trails and green spaces? Are there things we are currently doing well? Do you have ideas for how we could improve our parks, trails and amenities? We want to hear from you!
Attend one of our upcoming community open houses between November 14 and 23, 2022 to share your ideas and vision for parks and trails in the qathet region. Complete an online community survey on the project page website between November 14 and 30, 2022. Paper copies will be available upon request. Feedback gathered through the community open houses and survey will help guide the future direction for parks and trails in the qathet Regional District.
