qathet Regional District (qRD) is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants to perform Environmental Monitoring and Reporting at the Lasqueti Landfill (the Site) located on Crown Land at an area described as “South East 40 acres of North West ¼ of Section 18, Lasqueti Island” and was operated under Permit PR-4904.

The Landfill is quite small and located in a remote forested area on a small island community with water taxi access only. Anyone submitting a proposal should be aware of the site’s accessibility and topography which includes steep sloped areas and properly account for these conditions and take appropriate measures in their proposal.
