From time to time, qathet Regional District (qRD) advertises for consultants or contractors to submit tenders or proposals for special projects through a fair and open procurement process as outlined in the Purchasing Authority Bylaw. qRD advertises bid opportunities as per legislated requirements in local newspapers, on this website (below) and as required, on BC Bid. Those submitting bids are encouraged to review bid documents thoroughly to ensure their bids comply with the requirements of the procurement. Each bid document will identify contact information.

 

CONCESSION CONTRACT – SHELTER POINT PARK – 2020

qathet Regional District is seeking bids from persons or organizations with experience in the food industry to operate a food concession at Shelter Point Park for the 2020 camping season.

Hard copies are available at the Regional District office.

 

A site visit will be held at 9:45 am on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Shelter Point Park concession building. Please note that it is the responsibility of the Tenderer to submit Appendix C of the Invitation to Tender, being the Registration of Intent to Respond form, no later than Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

LUND SEWER OUTFALL RENEWAL/REPAIR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

qathet Regional District is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to renew/repair approximately 350 metres of piping from Lund Harbour into the Strait of Georgia and to remove and properly recycle or dispose of the approximately 275 metres of damaged pipe.
